File Uploader hangs / locks / freezes
« on: March 06, 2011, 12:53:30 AM »
Just selected 15 images to upload using File Uploader (FTP)... changed destination path to create new folder on agency's server... application now locked such that cannot close, cancel or send File Upload; nor can I shut PM down (Quit button is greyed out).  Quit via left click with mouse over icon also fails.  May be looking at hard reboot... hopefully not, but will find out in a second.

Any help appreciated.

Command-Option-Esc will bring up a dialog that will allow you to force quit any running application.  You can also use the Activity Monitor application in the Utilities folder to do this as well.

Please let me know if this hang is reproducible.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Hey Kirk,  I tried the Cmd/Opt/Esc route last night but it was unresponsive.  Wound up doing a hard reboot on the system. Have just finished successfully uploading files using same steps as first attempt, so it seems I am unable to reproduce the issue at this point.  Will keep you posted should I see it again.  Thanks for the prompt reply.
