Stopped Being able to view PSD files
« on: March 30, 2011, 10:50:29 AM »
PM 4.5.4.

I recently upgraded my computer.  Now I cannot see any of my PSD files.  All I get is a grey box containing the Photomechanic icon in the left lower corner and "PSD" in the lower right.

The exact same files (they're on an external hard disc) were viewable on my old machine using the same version of PM.

I'm a little confused.

Any thoughts?

Win 7 64 bit.

You'll either need to install Apple's QuickTime for Windows, or upgrade to version 4.6 which no longer relies on QuickTime for loading PSD files.  (It's faster too!)

Installation of Quicktime (followed by a reboot) solved the issue.  Thanks.
