Photo mechanic won't open file in CS5

Hi Guys,

a strange thing occurred. I installed CS5 yesterday and deinstalled CS4 , and assigned PhotoMechanic to open the CR2 files in CS5, But this does not happen , whatever I try.
Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. It's kind of Urgent as I this is my working computer . A macbook pro.

What version of Mac OS X are you running?
What version of Photo Mechanic are you running?

If you use drag and drop from the finder to the running Photoshop CS5, does it respond and open the CR2 file?
Since the last thing you did was an uninstall of a Photoshop version, have you tried reinstalling Photoshop CS5?
