embedding code for Google Analytics?

Is there a way to embed Google (or others) supplied code for analytics into the header of gallery indexes and (best case) even individual image page headers?  It would be nice to track visitor activity in real terms.  Thanks.

You can manually embed the code into the generated pages with a text editor.

There is no automatic way.
