IPTC {iptcyear4} field

PM v4.6.7 on a Windows 7 os

I am using the {iptcyear4} field as a variable, the year the photo was taken is 2012, but the year is displayed by the variable as 2011?
 
My date format on my camera and laptop is dd/mm/yy, I don't know if this is causing an issue.

I can see the EXIF data in Lightroom3 and Opanda with the correct year displayed.

First, make sure to update to PM 4.6.8 since it fixes a number of problems in the version you're currently running.

As for your date issue, the Exif Capture Date is not the same as the IPTC Date.  It is entirely possible for the two to differ.  What does the Date and Time fields indicate in the IPTC Info dialog for this photo?

Can you paste the contents of your Info Text here?  (So I can see what variables you're using?)

Also, add {iptcyear4} to the Info Text and post a screen shot of what the output looks like.  And lastly, I'd like a screen shot of the IPTC Info showing the Date and Time for the photo in question.

Hi Kirk;

I think I have narrowed it down a bit.

When I open the photo in PM and select the "I" icon it shows the variables I have entered in my template.
I select the "Save & >" button, then use the "Save & <" button to check the data entered. This is where the date appears incorrect.

But if I use "Apply Stationary Pad" button it appears to display the correct date when I go back and check the information
