New Variable Suggestion - {RSeqn}
« on: May 16, 2012, 04:38:20 AM »
Could we have a sequence number variable that automagically ALWAYS started at 1 when resolved when a function is performed?

I have situations were I want to do an arrangement in a contact sheet, then put a sequence number in front of the file name so the sequence is locked in as I close/open that contact sheet.  Currently, I have to open "Set Sequence #" and reset it to 1.

The format (number of digits) could be what ever the Set Sequence size is at the time(01 vs 001 vs 0001, etc.)

I was thinking {RSeqn} for "Restarted Sequence" or something like that.

Would anyone else benefit from this?

If you press the option (alt) key with that dialog open it changes "Set Sequence #" to "Reset Sequence #".  Not what you're after, but one less key press.

Thanks Sam, that saves me a few seconds and makes it easier! Didn't know that so far.
After 5 years of absence I restarted the photography.
