Option in view menu for video
« on: June 09, 2012, 04:20:03 AM »
It would be great to be able to toggle display of video files ingested together with photos. Now they appear together with photos and turning off "Show other filetypes as proxies" doesn't remove them from from display. It would be great to have an option to have videos hidden.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.

If you put {mediatype} into the Folder Name field during ingest, it will create separate folders for stills and video. Then you can look at each alone...

But this would also mean voice memos (WAV files) being separated from the images they belong requiring an extra step to be moved back to the images folder. And I think (didn't check though) media type would separate RAW+JPG pairs too what may be a preference for some but not for everyone.

But thanks for the suggestion it works as a workaround.

Bob's suggestion shouldn't separate sound files from the images, nor should it separate RAWs from JPEGs.
