Resetting colour class to pm default ?
« on: July 01, 2012, 06:26:55 PM »
Hi

I would like to reset the colour class preference to its default original state ? How do I go about that. Is it possible to reset all the preferences back to default in one go.

Many thanks

Cheyni

If you delete your Photo Mechanic preferences files, Photo Mechanic will create defaults again the next time it is launched.  What OS do you run Photo Mechanic on?

Hi Kirk

Sorry for lack of info kids school holidays driving me crazy, windows 7. Assume its in here C:\Users\Cheyni Saville\AppData\Roaming\Camera Bits, Inc\Photo Mechanic|\?

Should know, this I been using PM long enough wouldn't use anything else. Like everyone else eagerly awaiting cataloging version of PM.

Many thanks for the best photographic organizing software in the world.

Cheyni,

That's the spot.

Quit PM first and then do a rename on the prefs file.

The file is "com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.prefs" and I would suggest just renaming it.  Put an 'x' in front of it.  That way you can get it back if you need to.

HTH,
