Fujifilm X100 movie thumbnail images missing

PM 4.6.9 does not show thumbnail images for Fujifilm X100 movie files, only white rectangles (please see screen shot 1), while windows explorer (Win 7 Home Premium) shows them correctly (please see screen shot 2). What could be wrong?

Karl,

Have you installed Apple's QuickTime on your system?  Without QuickTime, PM cannot get thumbnails for movie files.

Yes, QuickTime is installed.

Similarly, I have noticed that thumbnails are not generated by PM for mp4 files produced by my mobile phone since about the beginning of May.

Have also spotted some other mp4 files (not from a mobile) as early as 19th April are also represented as white rectangles.

I wonder if this coincided with a part beta release?

Does the QuickTime viewer application show these same files without issue?

The mp4 files show as thumbnails in Finder and play in Quicktime.

I received some sample movies from Fujifilm X100 cameras and I can see that PM is not loading thumbnails for them, but I do not know why.  I will try to resolve the issue in PM5.

I have no workaround for either of you at this time.
