PM5 PLUS Metadata
« on: July 09, 2012, 05:32:12 PM »
So I'm curious - is the intention that we will be able to load PLUS packs / license files directly into PM since they are XMP files ?

Are there any instructions / tut's anywhere yet on how to use the extended fields ?

Thx

Eventually PM will be able to do that.  Not in PM 5.0 however.

PLUS is a free licensing system that aims to help standardize image rights.

It's XML based so it's broadly compatible with most software that can parse xmp sidecars. A lot/most of the new fields in the stationery pad are part of the IPTC 1.1 spec and are in turn borrowed / part of the PLUS spec.
