Autocomplete OSX vs Windows versions
« on: July 19, 2012, 01:30:44 AM »
Hi all, hope someone can help with this. I have produced an auto complete file of athletes for our photographers, some are using OSX, some are using Windows, all are 4.6.9. When there are two names in the auto complete file for example starting Tom the OSX version pops up a drop down box of Toms, the Windows version doesn't.

My only work around so far is to generate two versions one where the names with duplicate first names are broken down into firstname and surname on a separate line. Is there some sort of option to turn this feature on in the Windows version?

Even if it's just to say yes that is normal and has been a bug / feature difference for ages would be great

Yes, this is as expected.  Each version has its own implementation and they're different.
