Windows crash -- serious
« on: August 22, 2012, 06:46:34 PM »
Windows 7, 64-bit
Photo Mechanic 5.0

Well, I haven't seen any other posts, so it looks like I am alone on this one.

When I installed PM 5.0 and Restarted, it took about 20 minutes for the Windows 7 to boot up.

Then I had problems with the system which forced a System Restore. Naturally, I lost PM 5.

Looks like I have another problem, but just in case, I am posting here.

Thanks,

Folsombob

I would have to guess that something else is going wrong on your system.  No one else has reported an issue such as you've described with the Photo Mechanic: Version 5 Installer.

I recommend doing a ChkDsk (Check Disk) on your system drive to see if it is going bad.

I would suggest taking a look at the Event logs.
