A date format issue
« on: October 21, 2012, 07:09:29 AM »
During ingest, I save files to a folder  - {year4}\{date}-{location}

Normally the date format would be 2012-10-17, but the last three ingests have reversed that date format to  17-10-2012

I did a firmware update to the NEX-7 on Thursday, but the date format on the camera still shows Y-M-D as the date format.
I don't recall changing any other settings that would cause this change. I checked the Regional settings in Windows 7. They show the long date as yyyy-MM-dd.

I cannot think of any other places where there is a date format setting?

I am using PM Version 5.0 build 13444.

I just found the reason for the date change.

PM uses the SHORT FORM date, not the long form date.  But the short form date on my computer was shown as  dd/mm/yyyy, while the long form was shown as yyyy-mm-dd.   So from the look of the date format I thought PM was using the LONG FORM date.

I don't recall changing the date, or other settings that could affect that, but obviously I did change something that affected the date format.
