Unwanted Color Class from IPTC stationary Pad
« on: November 27, 2012, 02:20:59 AM »
I run Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 13444 (c5a5ad3) on Imac OS X 10.8.2
After ingest and automatic applying IPTC stationary Pad, my photos get color class 2 Orange.
I do not want any Color Class applied  after ingest, and there are no Color Class set in the IPTC stationary pad (see attatchment)

Kind regards
Bengt Naespe

Is that screen shot from your IPTC Stationery Pad from within the Ingest dialog?

This was addressed awhile back if I remember correctly. In the preference menu > general tabs make sure all the color codes have a title or name in your case check to see if the orange has a title. Once you do this make sure you close down PM and restart so the changes take effect.

I realize this has nothing to do with Ingest

When i apply  IPTC stationary pad to Photos, they get color class 2 orange, despite there are no color class set in the ITPC stationary pad

I suggest also turning off the 'Synchronize Color Class with IPTC/XMP Urgency field' checkbox.  I believe it is the root cause of your issue.
