Search-Dialog: multiple conditions for same property
« on: January 17, 2013, 11:59:58 AM »
I would really like to define multiple conditions for the same property.
Something like:

lens focal length is greater than 100 AND lens focal length is less than 200

The current implementation of the search dialog (Version 4.6.9 on Mac) doesn't allow this.

This should not be so hard to implement, or?

Regards,
Andreas.

The current Spotlight integrated search will no longer be developed.  We're devoting our development efforts to the search capabilities in our upcoming cataloging software.

What a pity. :-(
The possibilty to do a lightning fast search over all my photos for a specify exif/iptc property
without having  to import all photos into a special software (aperture/ligtroom/etc.) was
a big benefit of photo mechanic. A unique selling point !
