Panasonic RAW files

Have just got a Panasonic DMC-LX2 and am finding that its RAW files don't show up in Photo Mechanic. When in RAW mode the camera saves a RAW file with .raw extension, and an accompanying .jpg file. Does PM support Panasonic RAW files at all? I don't need any functionality - just for the thumbnails to appear in a contact sheet, and when I hit "edit photo" for the RAW files to be sent to Photoshop CS2. Thanks, Ben
