Hi,
I use PM 5 and also FotoStation (7)
The handy thing in FotoStation is that you can make projects (tags from the original) and you have 20 userfields.
see attachments
So in case of many clients it's very easy to organize. And also handy to search in the userfields.

My question is if that's also possible in PM?

No.  Neither feature currently exists in Photo Mechanic.  Feel free to request them in the Feature Requests section of the forums.
