Apply IPTC info across all files in a folder hierarcy
« on: January 26, 2013, 04:18:30 PM »
Hi all.

We have a very complex folder tree of images (76 folders containing some 800 TIFFs).

I need to apply the same IPTC info (stationary pad) to all files in the tree.  Is there a batch/recursive way to do this w/o having to open each folder one at a time?

Running PM 5.0, build 13507, on Win7/64

Thanks!
Jerry

Yes, most definitely.  Open the parent folder from the Favorites or Navigator by right-clicking on it.  Choose either of the "Open folder and sub folders" options.  All 76 folders will now be open in a single contact sheet tab and you can select all and apply your IPTC Stationery Pad.

HTH,
