Reading GPX problems
« on: February 01, 2013, 01:52:13 AM »
Can anyone else please test the attached GPX file. I can read it ok in a freeware called GPX reader and also Translate it to Google maps but PM just will not read it (no error, just no track display)...

I don't think there is anything wrong with that gpx file per se -- it seems to be a valid gpx file --  but since it doesn't contain any date / time information to go along with the trackpoints, it is useless for geotagging.

Julie,

Bob is correct.  Without timing information there is no way for PM to use the data points for interpolation to the times used in your photos.

How was it generated?
