Windows 8 drag & drop directory
« on: February 02, 2013, 03:14:41 PM »
Got a new Windows 8 Pro 64 bit laptop and I noticed that in the Navigator I cannot drag and drop directories.  This worked fine under Windows 7.

PM 5 build 13645

Oops, once again, user error.  I was trying to drag and drop in the Favorites.  Works fine in the Navigator.  Is there a reason it won't work under Favorites?

They're two different implementations.  One of them has pretty good drag and drop support (Navigator) and the other one has more limited support (Favorites).  Was the Favorites the source of the drag or the destination?

Favorites was both the source and destination.

Deven,

Favorites was both the source and destination.

OK.  Were you trying to rearrange the order of the items?  Or were you trying to copy/move sub-folders?

Deven,

Move to sub folder.

OK, what were you moving?  Images from the contact sheet, or a folder from one Favorite to another Favorite (or a Favorite's sub folder)?
