PM gets slower from version to version

I thought Apple would've had a software update for this problem. As it is, people are thinking that every other possibility from not enough RAM to PM5 is at fault. Still, I blame myself for not checking the Internet for people with similar problems sooner than I did.

It is fairly natural for people to think that their favorite application is getting slower when it is the application that they use most of their day and new releases come out regularly.  If they use a large number of apps on a regular basis and they all seem slower, they suspect the computer and not the apps.

In Photo Mechanic's case we regularly make changes to speed things up.  PM 5 is faster at browsing images than all earlier releases of PM.  And there are more optimizations that we can do and will do over time.
