Enter foreign Tags behind JPEG?
« on: February 05, 2013, 03:05:16 AM »
Hi!

is it possible to write foreign Tags e.g. for other programms than photomechanic into the JPEG?
For example with a free text field?
I have a ftp server that needs routing-informations saved in a tag named <program-name:routing>destination</.....
I can add this information with a program distributed with the ftp server tool but its very slow....

Thanks,
fg

No.  Photo Mechanic has no support for custom fields with user supplied namespaces and tags.

do you think it might be possible to think about custom fields for the future? :D
or is it nothing you ever want to realize?

Sure.  But that kind of thing will take a lower priority to the work we're currently doing.

No.  We're still working on Cataloging which is our highest priority work right now.  Everything else will have to wait, and moreover we're not committing to implementing your feature request at this time.
