Sorting is Painfully SLOWWWWW

Hi - When ever I have lots of raw files, (1500) in one folder, abel a few winners out of the batch, Click in the correct color label  in the bottom right & CK the box, seems to take forever to view the Labeled files, 1 to 2 mins.... to wait... spinning beach ball

When you use the filter, PM has to get the metadata for all of the images in the contact sheet before it can finish the filter.  If all of the metadata has been parsed then this filtering is very fast.  If few or none of the images have had their metadata loaded then this process can take some time to complete.

But 1 to 2 minutes does seem excessive to me.  In general on a fast machine with fast local hard drives, PM can load the metadata of 50-100 images per second which for your number of images should be at most 15 seconds.

What are the actual RAW file types present in your folder?
