Renaming issue
« on: March 31, 2013, 01:41:57 AM »
Hello.

Everytime I choose a snapshot in the <Save photo as ...>-dialog my renaming preset will be reset to a ominous snapshot.

<Rename as< in the <Save photo as ...)-dialog is unchecked.

I created this ominous rename-snapshot and I deleted it from snapshot-list years ago. But this snapshot  still appears as a string in the com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.prefsdb file.

Ominous?  I don't understand what you're saying.  Perhaps a screenshot will illustrate?

< {filenamebase}_RAU  > is the string of the "ominous" snapshot. "Ominous" means, that none of my snapshots includes the string < {filenamebase}_RAU  >.
An old snapshot contained that string. I deleted that snapshot years ago, but it still appears in the com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.prefsdb file.

I talked about this problem with Bob at the London olympics and he wanted to see to it.

And if you simply change the renaming string and rename a photo or two and then open up the Rename dialog, does the old renaming string return?

The old renaming string only returns if I choose (click) a snapshot in the <Save photo as ...>-dialog.

Any Save As snapshot, or a specific Save As snapshot?
