IPTC Stationery Pad
« on: July 01, 2013, 09:44:09 AM »
The wiki suggests the following:

Apply IPTC Stationery Pad to Photos
When this option is checked, the IPTC Stationery Pad will be applied to each image as it is ingested. . By setting up the Pad before Ingesting, you can make sure all the files are captioned, copyrighted, credited etc. as they are copied. See IPTC Stationery Pad for more details on Batch Captioning.

The only info I found was in the local help file and that stationery pad does not have the new fields in it or an explanation.

Is there any posted information on the v5 stationery pad?

Thank you..

Here is a link to the section of the manual what tries to explain how Photo Mechanic uses IPTC Metadata

Here is the specific manual section in the IPTC Stationery Pad

    http://wiki.camerabits.com/en/index.php?title=User_Manual_Flat_View#IPTC_Stationery_Pad

In brief, the Stationery Pad is the main dialog for adding IPTC metadata to your photos: things like captioning, copyright and keywords. If you let us know what specifically you want to accomplish with metadata, we can try to give some more specific suggestions.
