rename file name ie: DSC_ , but I want the existing sequence # to remain the same. For instance if I have a file name DSC_1234 can I rename it to 13MHSFB_1234 in an ingest function?
I got to loving that on LR, but I still keep coming back to PM and could sure use that function.....thanx......jw

Use this as your renaming string:

13MHFSB_{filenamebase:-4}

Photo Mechanic has been able to do this for many years now. ;)
