TIF export from RAW
« on: December 18, 2006, 03:51:53 PM »
Hi Kirk,

I was just ckecking out PM's "save as TIF"-function based on RAW/NEF via Mac OS 10.4.8. The results looked quite good, but the filenames ended with "*.jpg.tif".
Is there a way to get rid of that .jpg and just have the .tif extension?

Thanks,
HM

I just did a save as TIFF from a CR2 file and I was unable to reproduce your issue.  Could you take a screen shot of your Save As dialog and post it here?

Thanks,

Kirk,

I hope the screen shot is attached.
A workaround with renaming would also do it, but which variables - I don't want to change the filname and sequence?

Was this a RAW+JPEG pair that you selected to Save As?  Try un-joining them and select only the RAW file.  I'll try it with a RAW+JPEG pair this time.

Thanks,
