Making multiple find/replace/IPTC edits in one action
« on: December 03, 2013, 08:46:00 PM »
I've had a dig around and can't see this addressed but apologies in advance if this has been asked and answered before.

Sometimes I need to edit a sequence of images for different outputs. This usually involves three steps - two find and replace actions and a partial IPTC overwrite of selected fields to update a set of images captioned for one output to be suitable for another output (without losing all the caption and keyword information that applies for both outputs).

These three actions are always the same, the two find and replace actions I have configured via lightening bolt shortcuts and the IPTC overwrite as a preset, also via the lightening bolt.

Is there a method which enables me to apply all three actions in sequence, to a batch of images, as a single action?

Thanks.

No, Joel, there is no way to chain multiple sets of find/replace operations.
