Unsupp Format
« on: December 23, 2013, 09:47:45 AM »
I am running PM5 on a PC desktop HP pavillion Windows 7.

I just had a problem with the unsupported Format Variant.

I had not formatted my SD card so I still had some pics that had already been ingested. I did not want to duplicate them.
I closed PM 5 and opened the folder to the card direct. I removed the images I did not want.

I then opened PM and set up an ingest like normal. The ingest took FOREVER (one image per minutes as opposed to images per second)

Now the images are not there, I think anyway

Mike,

This doesn't look well. If you again look at your SD card in windows explorer directly, are the images you are looking for still there and readable? The fact that the ingest took so long could be an indication something went wrong with your SD card, so better check this first...

OK Operator error. Restarted the system and all seems well.

I guess I can yank this thread
