Sort by?
« on: May 08, 2006, 09:46:12 AM »
Is there a way to display what sort criteria a user is currently using? Also...could it keep the last 5 (???) variables that I've used to sort so I don't have to locate them eveytime I want to use it?

You would have to go back into the Custom Sort dialog and look at it.
As for the 'recent' variables, I suppose that could be added, but right now it is a static list.

Thanks for the feedback,

Yeah...I dont mind having to go back and look at it.  It's just that right now, I have to remember what criteria (variable) I used and my memory just isn't that good.

But...as I'm thinking about it, maybe PM could display the sort variable at the bottom of the window...like where it says

"Selected 0 of 95 (0.00 MB) | 0+954=954 total | 0 Unknown | "

It could display
"Selected 0 of 95 (0.00 MB) | 0+954=954 total | 0 Unknown | Sort: Filename"

                                                     or

"Selected 0 of 95 (0.00 MB) | 0+954=954 total | 0 Unknown | Sort: suppcat2"
