pixelated preview?

I'm editing through a 1400 image contact sheet on a new PC. When I get about a quarter of the way my previews come up pixelated and never clears up all images after are pixelated all prior are fine. any ideas?

I close PM & reopened it and it seem normal now. Ideas would be welcome still.

Just offhand, what is your computer memory and PM memory and disk cache settings?

Disk Cache 1024
Mem Cache 768
