Lost my folder/drive pane

Somehow, the pane at the bottom of the left-hand panel which shows all of my folders and drives has disappeared, and I don't know how to get it back.  Please help.

Notice the two gray dots stacked one above the other right below your Favorites and above the Tasks?  Click and drag the upper one towards the Favorites.  You should see the Navigator again.

I had tried that maneuver about 20 times but could not get any movement.  Finally, it worked.
