Which ways to fast tag Keywords to many pictures
« on: July 23, 2014, 02:52:49 PM »
Hy,

I'm new to PM and I'm still seeking a good workflow for me :)

Which ways are possible to tag hierarchical Keywords to a large number of photos? Maybe there are many photos, which has to become the same Keyword. Is it possible to tag many photos at the same time?
Greetings from Germany,
Robert

Hope is not the conviction that something wil turn out well,
but the cercainty, that someting makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.

Use the Structured Keywords panel.  It can apply to many images at once.

Hy Kirk,

thanks for your reply. I was in the IPTC Info Dialogue and there you can only tag the actual photo.

If I understand it right, I select some photos directly in the contactsheet, open the "Structured Keywords Panel", then select the Keywords and at last click on "apply collection to selected".

Is it possible (if not this will be a featurerequest for the future) to drag'n drop Keywords directly on selected photos?

Robert,

Yes, use one of the Apply buttons with your selection.
