Apply to selected images changes IPTC
« on: August 11, 2014, 08:22:14 AM »
I have my IPTC set-up beforehand and just put in the first bit of the caption.

I may choose more than one photo and use Ctrl+I to caption all the selected photos at the same time by clicking Apply to selected.

However the next time I choose either one or more photos, the IPTC has been changed with the last caption.

I then have to delete the last caption and write a new one.

Is there a way that when I click Apply to selected it doesn't leave the last caption in.

If you open the IPTC Stationary Pad (CTRL-I), simply remove the checkmark for the Caption field (or any of the other fields you don't want to apply).

Hope this helps,

Change the popup menu that is right below the Caption apply check box to 'Replace'.
