{seqn} variable on Export
« on: January 03, 2015, 10:37:59 AM »
Is the sequence variable supposed to increment on a text export? I was trying to use it to number the exported records, but the starting number is repeated for each image (line). These are the variables as they appear in the middle box:

{sequence} {tab} {filename} {tab} {caption}

and this is output I received:

001     SA Day 00 001.JPG     Southern Africa
001     SA Day 00 002.JPG     Birchwood
001     SA Day 00 017.JPG     Township tour
001     SA Day 00 018.JPG     Township tour
001     SA Day 00 021.JPG     Township tour

David,

I don't think we ever expected the sequence number would be used in a text export.  It is obviously not incrementing sequence numbers when the next image is processed.

Thanks for the response. Not very important, since I can always add it by opening the file in Excel or a db or applying it to an unused metadata field before export.
