Converting extensions
« on: January 07, 2015, 09:38:32 AM »
Is there an easy way to convert extensions in filenames? I have 1000's of files that ingested with .JPG and I need to have them end in lowercase .jpg  Not looking forward to renaming a dozen folders worth of files not to mention that I can't risk changing their file numbers. One changed file number and I am SERIOUSLY hose.

Hi Eric!

You can use (and please test it prior applying to your "production" images) the variable called {filenamebase}.
This variable contains the filename w/o the extension.

Example see in attached screenshot. (lower case extension to UPPERCASE)
