Color tags excluded from contact sheet

Every time I open a contact sheet the green and yellow tags are 'un-checked' requiring me to check them to be able to see all the images. I've looked in the prefs settings but haven't found where this is set so that opening a new contact sheet displays all the various tagged photos. Anyone know where this is set?

Set the Color Class widget the way you want it to be and then right-click on it and choose "Set as Default" from the contextual menu that appears.
