Could not place XMP Error

With the new build I get a could not place XMP file when I drag a image into Photoshop CC in Windows 8.1 - I don't remember seeing this  before?

I don't understand what you're trying to say.  Please rephrase, or post a JPEG screen shot that illustrates the problem you're having if possible.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

What version of Windows 8.1 are you using?  64-bit or 32-bit?

I have an image open in photoshop - I drag a group of images into it to open them as smart objects - each opens but after each I get the attached errors the "B" at the end  of the group.

If I just drag the image to PS - NO problem this happens when I drag it into an image and it opens as a smart object. I don't know IF I ever did that before!
