Variable for microfocus or AFMA values?
« on: April 08, 2015, 10:14:56 PM »
I recently noticed that my Canon 7D displays its AFMA (microfocus adjustment) value on its screen when reviewing images. When I'm taking photos for  microfocus adjustments, it would be great if I could add the value to my filenames and/or captions using a variable with this information, but so far I've been unable to find one. Are the AFMA values stored in the EXIF information, and if so, can that value be accessed via a variable?

Thanks.

The micro adjustments are likely stored in the exif. PM won't be able to show them, but a tool called exiftool by Phil Harvey certainly will be able to do so.
