work with virtual folders - picture centric

I would like an option to work with virtual folders, to collect pictures from different places.
Without the need to open some complete real folders in one contact sheet.

And the option to drag&drop pictures from different places to this virtual folders, without copying the files from real file places.
Symbolic links my be an technical solution...

Yes, mostly this is part of an catalog based system.
I know camerabits maybe work on such catalog system since a looong time...

But an implementation, in my opinion, in PM would be great :-)

Such a system will be in our Catalog feature.  We would not add such a request without the power of the Catalog.
