Hi

how it comes, that "search" sometimes doesn't find anything? Neither quicksearch nor the menue-search, even when it's limited to the right location. Caption and Keywords contain the right words.
Macos 10.6.8, Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 16438 (e61be25), but it has happened with older versions too.

If I am not mistaken, the search function makes use of Apple's spotlight search and is therefore limited to what Spotlight can find. Most notably, Spotlight is unable to search metadata that is in XML files so if your metadata is in there, you're basically out of luck  :(

You might want to try the normal “Find” function, but that has its limitations too...
