This is just a preference (partly because it's what I already have ... Lightroom uses that date format and it's still sorts just fine alphanumerically on a filesystem), but I can't see anywhere to change it.  Can I change it?

ie.

  Not:
  <root>\20150724

  but
  <root>\2015-07-24

Photo Mechanic 5.0, build 16438 on Win7x64.  This is a pre-sales question.

thanks,
David.

No, but instead of using the dated folder, you can instead set it to "into folder with name" use Photo Mechanic's date variables.

{year4}-{month0}-{day0}

Enter the above into the Folder Name: field.
