Picking a starting point in captions
« on: September 25, 2015, 03:22:17 PM »
Dose anyone know if there is a way to have the cursor start in the same spot during a session. Maybe in the config or pref settings.

i.e. September 25, 2015 - Loudon, NH U.S. -  drives in the qualifier for the

For example a way to have the cursor start in the #40th space right after the dash?

No, there is no way to set a specific offset in any of the fields.

Likely low or no priority at this time, but is keyboard macro functionality a realistic wish for the future? If yes, users should perhaps discuss and unify a request, as there may be more than a few ways.

There are plenty of inexpensive programs that provide keyboard macros that work in any application.  I see no reason to build one into PM at this time.

Of course, I use AutoHotkey myself for Windows, but I know a few Windows users who find AHK intimidating  :)
