Hi Kirk, that has fixed it - removed the 2nd burner, a MCE/Pioneer Bluray and PM5 now launches properly and very quickly too. It is a great shame Apple apparently wont address this issue with 2nd burners though ! I assume it is something that could be resolved in the OS somehow.
