PM5 slow to load in windows 10.

I have just upgraded my software to Windows 10 using PM 5.0 Build 169960. There is a noticeable lag in the time it takes PM5 to load. Does anyone else have this problem.

Perhaps your preferences have been lost and you need to setup things like your default sort type for contact sheets (Filename sorting is the fastest, followed by modification time, and all of the rest of the sort types are much slower.)

Thanks for the response.

What you say makes sense and did not occur to me. I have noticed a similar problem with other non photographic software in Windows 10. Will try your suggestions and post the result.
