Cropping in PM

Hi,

I used PM for the first time yesterday, mainly for culling, keywords and then sent to LR. It did what it says on the tin.

I cropped all the photos that needed it while i was culling, am i right in saying that i have to 'Save As' to another folder to save the crop ? I sent the folder after culling to the HD and thought the crops would be saved, mistake !  In LR i just crop and hit enter & it crops and saves how i want it but if i make a mistake i can bring the crop box back up.

The crop in PM is only applied to the metadata, not to the image data. To “apply” the crop, you indeed have to save the image anew. The crop information is LR compatible though. So LR should show the same crop as you set in PM. You may, however, have to force LR to re-synchronise the metadata.
