Change from BST to GMT leads to reingestion of all photos on card

My camera gets its time data from GPS and embeds it in photos.
The clocks went back this weekend.
My first photos today were out of sight of GPS and so appeared on summer time. Once GPS acquired the new time, it appeared in the photos.
Not the end of the world. But rather annoying was that PM decided to reimport all 60+Mb of pictures from earlier shoots. Seems like a bug to me.

If the files change, it is difficult for Photo Mechanic to assume they are the same photos. This is not strictly considered a bug, as it is working as intended. I can see how it would be a hassle though.
