Photoshelter ftp error
« on: November 30, 2016, 08:27:18 AM »
Hi, Since upgrading to Sierra on Mac I have an upload error using the Photoshelter uploader inside Photomechanic.
The error reads: Error: No route to host - sendto(2)
Nothing changed in my setup.

Any advice out there or is this a software fix for PM?

Best

Graeme

Is your DNS working?  Can you go to a website that you've never been to before with your browser?

Hi Kirk, thanks for the response. Yes, all working fine. DNS is functioning.
I had similar connection issues with sftp connections via my ftp client app, apparently caused by unregistered keys. However, I just clicked agreed when prompted and all was well. I'm wondering if the underlying connection protocol has been broken in PM?

Thanks,

G

We just tested PM5 with Photoshelter on macOS Sierra and had a temporary issue where the Photoshelter servers were refusing access, but later attempts worked fine and we were able to upload photos successfully.

OK, i'm running Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 17719 (c8049ca)
I'll reinstall from a fresh download, input my details for PS again and test. I'll let you know how it goes.

Cheers,
G
