Hi its me again,

maybe the same problem in a different case.

4 Cards with 128 GB ( CFast an CF ) in a Lexar Thunderbolt reader.

The Import Process slows down and stops for a minute - like taking breath :-) the it goes again and stops and so on.

The 4 Cards together takes so much longer that each card alone.

Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 18327 (5034d39) on OS X 10.11.6 with 32 GB RAM

It worked really well before

Any ideas ???

Regards Dirk

I responded to your other thread as well, but the same advice may apply here too.  If it doesn't help to reduce your Memory Cache, then I suggest contacting our support folks directly.

Dirk,

You may also try reverting to the previous build of PM5:

We changed which file copy routine is used in PM because under certain circumstances the previous copy routine would end up with files having incorrect permissions.
