Something I think would be helpful would be a "Close" button on the "Rename Photos" dialog. It would function exactly as the Close button on the IPTC Stationary Pad currently does.
I can't tell you how many times I go to rename photos and type out the string I want to use, only to realize I have the wrong photos currently selected. The problem comes when I click Cancel to switch back to the contact sheet and highlight the correct photos. Of course then I lose all the changes I typed into the Rename box.
Having a close button would allow me to switch back to the contact sheet then back to Rename Photos without losing the changes I previously made. Please let me know if that doesn't make any sense. Obviously this isn't anything urgent just one of those, "it would be nice" requests.
I realize I can copy and then later paste my typed changes back into the dialog but that just adds extra steps and I usually forget on deadline.
